| Khurd Kulungana |
| |
Kulungana Bujrukh village is situated 42 Km away from Melghat, in Amaravati District of Maharashtra which is 1057 km north east of Mumbai. The village with the population of 521 consists of the tribes of Korku, Gawlies and Balia. This village suffers from migration though it receives adequate rainfall due to no irrigation facilities to help their main source of livelihood - agriculture. Only primary education is available in the village and that too has high drop out rate due to no classrooms and inadequate educational utilities. The villagers still depend on witch doctors and are completely ignorant even towards basic health care.
