Q. Who is Barclaycard?
A. Barclaycard is part of the Barclays Bank Group, which has over 300 years of banking heritage, and has its headquarters in the UK. We are one of Europe's largest multi-brand credit card and consumer lending businesses. Q. How can I apply for a Barclaycard?

Q How can I pay my monthly Barclaycard bill?
A. There are 2 ways you can pay:
 
Electronic Clearing System (ECS)
You can set up an ECS to pay your minimum monthly payment, a fixed amount, or the total outstanding on your Barclaycard every month directly from your bank account. Hassle free, this means you don’t have to worry about remembering to make a payment every month.
Just call our Customer Services team to find out if ECS is available in your area.
 
Cheque
By drop box.
You can drop a cheque in any Skypak cheque drop box. You can find out where these are by clicking on our list of cheque drop boxes. Make cheques payable to "Barclays Bank PLC" crossed "Account Payee". Make sure that you write your name, card number and telephone number on the back of the cheque. To ensure you do not incur late payment charges please allow enough time for your cheque to reach us including at least 4 days for the cheque to clear. .
 
By post
You can post a cheque to us at Barclaycard, P.O. Box 11567, Nariman Point, Mumbai - 400021. Make cheques payable to "Barclays Bank PLC" crossed "Account Payee". Make sure that you write your name, card number and telephone number on the back of the cheque. To ensure you do not incur late payment charges please allow enough time for your cheque to reach us including at least 4 days for the cheque to clear.
 
Outstation Cheques
We will charge an Outstation Cheque ee if you drop a cheque in a different town or city to the branch where it was drawn. We are unable to accept cheques from branches situated in remote locations where neither Barclays Bank nor our payment processing bank has a presence. For full details please contact customer services. If you try to pay by a remote outstation cheque, it will be returned to you, a returned payment fee will be charged and you may incur Late Payment Charges and additional interest. Details of all fees and charges are set out in the Tariff Schedule.
 
Q. What should I do if my Barclaycard is lost or stolen?
A. Call us immediately on +91 22 6000 4444 (MTNL & BSNL users: 1800 233 7878) so we can block your card and protect you from any fraudulent transactions. Remember, thanks to the Barclaycard Fraud Guarantee you will not have to pay for any transactions that have been made without your permission, as long as you tell us immediately.
 
Q. What should I do if I see a transaction I don’t recognise on my statement?
A. Please call us straight away on 6000 4444 (MTNL & BSNL users: 1800 233 7878) so we can find out what the problem is. Remember, thanks to the Barclaycard Fraud guarantee you will not have to pay for any transactions that have been made without your permission, as long as you tell us immediately.
 
Q. What should I do if my personal details or address have changed?
A. Please call us on 6000 4444 (MTNL & BSNL users: 1800 233 7878) and let us know so we can keep all your details up to date.
 
Q.How can I change my minimum payment?
A. If you want to change your minimum or monthly payment, please call our Customer Services team on 6000 4444 (MTNL & BSNL users: 1800 233 7878) and they will be pleased
to help you.
 
Q. How can I change my billing date?
A. With Barclaycard you can choose which week of the month you would like you billing date to be. If you want to change your billing week, please call our Customer Services team on 6000 4444 (MTNL & BSNL users: 1800 233 7878).
 
Q. How can I manage my credit limit?
A. At Barclaycard we want to put you in charge of your credit card. So if you want to speak to us about lowering your credit limit, please give our Customer Services team a call on 6000 4444 (MTNL & BSNL users: 1800 233 7878).
 
Q. What is a balance transfer?
A.A balance transfer is when you move an outstanding amount due from one credit card to another credit card.
 
Q. Where does one send the Times Card application forms?
A. The Application forms will be collected by our associates.
 

You can move a balance from another credit card to your Barclaycard at a preferential rate, helping you to manage your finances smarter. Just call us and we will arrange a cheque to pay off your outstanding balance on your old credit card and transfer the balance to your Barclaycard, subject to your available credit limit. A balance transfer fee of 2% / min Rs. 300 may apply.

Q. What should I do if I forget my Personal IdentificationNumber(PIN)?
A. Please call our Customer Services team on 6000 4444 (MTNL & BSNL users: 1800 233 7878) – they will be able to send you out a PIN reminder.
 
Q. Can I get an add on card for my Barclaycard?
A. Yes, and with Barclaycard there is no additional cost for having an add on card. Just call our Customer Services team and they can help you arrange this.
