Security Tips and Fraud Protection
At Wallet365, maintaining your account's security is our top priority. To augment the security measures that we take on your behalf, there are steps that you can take to help protect your account from fraud and scams.

Website Security
  • Type in the Wallet365 URL: To safely and securely access the Wallet365 website or your Wallet365 account, open a new web browser (e.g., Internet Explorer or Netscape) and type in the following: http://www.wallet365.com
Password Safety
  • Never share your Wallet365 password: Wallet365 representatives will never ask you for your password. If you believe someone has learned your password, please change it immediately.

  • Create a secure password: Choose a password that does not follow any sequence. Avoid choosing obvious words or dates such as a nickname or your birth date. Simple passwords are easy to crack.

  • Keep your Wallet365 password unique: Don't use the same password for Wallet365 and other services. Using the same password for multiple websites increases the likelihood that someone could learn your password and gain access to your account.
Email Security
  • Look for a Wallet365 Greeting: Wallet365 will never send an email with the greeting "Dear Wallet365 User" or "Dear Wallet365 Member." Real Wallet365 emails will address you by your first and last name or the name with which you registered.

  • Don't share personal information via email: We will never ask you to enter your password or financial information in an email or send such information in an email. You should only share information about your account once you have logged in to http://www.wallet365.com.

  • Don't download attachments: Wallet365 will never send you an attachment or software update to install on your computer.
Use Your Account Wisely
  • Don't share your account: Don't use your Wallet365 account to collect or transfer money for someone else. These types of activity are often conducted as forms of money laundering or mail fraud and may result in significant criminal penalties. If someone contacts you and asks you to transfer money on their behalf, you should deny the request. It is in your interest to not get into such activity.

  • Look for legitimate sites: Examine all privacy and security seals before doing business with a particular website and make sure they are legitimate.
Computer Safety
  • Install all security updates available on the net to prevent virus attacks.

  • Protect your computer against viruses and spy ware by using anti-spy ware software, anti-virus software, and automatic upgrades.

  • Avoid downloading programs from unknown sources. Some source may have hidden forms of spy ware or viruses that could compromise the security of your computer.

  • Confirm the validity of all requests for sensitive personal, financial, or account information, particularly if they are made with an urgent or threatening tone.

  • Always logout from your online session.
