How can I search for product of a particular kind with lowest price or highest price point?
On entering the name of a product or category in the search text box and click on "search", the page to follow will give you the results along with a choice to sort in ascending or descending order as per the price range and even in a n alphabetical order. |
I would like to have more details on the features of the product before placing the order.
All products on the site are displayed with the item description relating to measurements, weight, features etc and the customers are requested to view the details and place an order accordingly. What does 'Recommend this product to a friend' mean?
All items at Window2India have a "Recommend this product to a Friend" option. Using this, an email is sent to your friend on your behalf, with a recommendation message. |

How are the shipping charges calculated?
The shipping charges are calculated bearing in mind the end-to-end cost that is incurred in shipping a product across the state. These are fares that are quoted to us by the logistic companies based on the weight and destination of the product |
Will I be charged separately for each product under one order?
An order can consist of a single product or of multiple products. The shipping charges are calculated separately against each product. You will be able to view the total cost of your order inclusive of shipping charges as applicable before completing the check out process. |
I wish to purchase many quantities and deliver it to different addresses. How do I enter the addresses?
After proceeding from the Shipping Details page, you can select different Shipping Addresses from a drop down box if you choose to send different products to different Shipping Addresses. |
Are my Credit Card details safe while I shop?
Window2India safeguards your credit card details while you shop, so you never have to worry about credit card safety. You'll be one of the many customers who have safely shopped with us without credit card fraud.

How can I search for my order number and details?
On placing an order with us, an order number is generated and is saved in 'My Account'. This is mentioned on the top right corner of the shopping page. You can access your account at any time and view the details and status of your order. |
How do I cancel an order?
Cancellations will only be considered if the request is made within 24 hours of placing an order. Send us an email at info@window2india.com if you need to cancel an order. If the order is already under process with the vendor, then the request will not be accepted. |

Is Window2India responsible for defective product delivery?
Our vendors attempt to deliver the best quality of products and exactly what is displayed on the site. Window2India.com acts as a platform to showcase the products displayed by the vendor and is an available venue for buyers to make their purchase. We are not involved in any sale and purchase of goods/products listed on this Site.
However, for post delivery queries, you may approach the Window2India Customer Help and they will be glad to take up the matter for you with the vendor |
If a product is found defective, within how many days, should I contact window2india.com? What is the Refund, return and replacement policy?
- In case of perishable items, the request for replacement / refund shall be submitted within 2 days of receipt of the items.
- In case of all other items, the request for return / exchange shall be submitted within 7 days of receipt of the items. There are no extra shipping charges for the delivery of replacement items.
- Products with specified warranty period, queries to be received within the time frame as mentioned on the product page.
- Queries received outside the time frame as mentioned above, will not be entertained.
Incase of a replacement, our logistic will pick the item and deliver it to the vendor. The replacement item will be delivered to the customer within 8 working days. Our logistics partners will attempt delivery of the items thrice. Incase the delivery is not executed during all the three attempts, due to recipient not available/premises locked, etc., the customer will still be charged for the order.
Incase of replacement of perishable items, the delivery of items will be attempted only once. Being perishable in nature, neither window2india.com nor our enabling partner will be able to accept any returns of such items.

What is the guarantee and warranty provided by Window2India on the product?
Certain products on the site carry a warranty and guarantee period that is mentioned by the vendor or company. In these cases, the warranty period for the item is mentioned on the product page itself.
Items like cakes and flowers carry no warranty period, as these are perishable in nature. |

Tags |
What is a Tag?
Tags are a convenient, fast and a powerful way to organize your photographs as compared to the traditional way of organizing through albums. Tags are nothing but keywords/labels that you can add to a photo while uploading/editing details.
For example, if you took a photograph while on vacation with family at Florida on a beach, you might want to add the following tags to that single photograph: Family, Vacation, Florida, Beach. Once you attach these tags with the photograph, this photograph will appear in all the above mentioned tags. So there is no need to move or copy your photographs from one place to the other.

How do I create a Tag and attach it to a photograph?
There are 2 ways in which you can create/attach the tag to a photograph: |
While Uploading Photos
- Go to the 'Photo' Tab on Window2India homepage.
- Log in using your Window2India Email ID.
- Select a photo product.
- As soon as you select a photograph for uploading, the textboxes for Name, Description and Tags will appear beside the thumbnail of the photograph.
- You can enter the Tag names in the Tags textbox. Note that the tag names are separated by a space, so Florida Family would be considered as 2 different tags.
- Once you click 'Add tags', the tags that you entered will automatically be added to the 'My Tags' list in the Right Menu.
While Editing Photo Details
- Go to the 'Photo' Tab on Window2India homepage.
- Log in using your Window2India email address.
- Click 'Show Photo' from the left panel.
- Select the photos that you want to edit and then click on 'Add Tags' in the page.
The selected photographs would appear with their name, description and tags displayed as last updated.
You can add more Tag names in the Tags textbox along with the existing ones. Note that the tag names are separated by a space, so Florida Family would be considered as 2 different tags.
- Once you click 'Save', the new tags that you entered will automatically be added to the 'My Tags' list in the page.
How can I edit the Tags that I have created?
- Go to the 'Photo' Tab on Window2India homepage.
- Log in using your Window2India email address.
- Click 'Show Photo' from the left panel.
- Select the photo.
- Click on 'Edit' on the page. Add tag and click on 'Save' the tag will be updated.
- You can edit the Name, Description from here by clicking on the tag name in your tag list.
Removing a Tag from a Photo
You can remove any tag from the photos in the following way:
- Go to the 'Photo' Tab.
- Log in to Window2India using your email address.
- Click 'Show Photo' from the left panel.
- Select the photos that you want to edit and then click on 'Edit'.
- The selected photographs would appear with their name, description and tags displayed as last updated.
- You can remove the Tag names that you wish to remove from the photograph.
Photos
Uploading photos
To upload your photos please follow the following steps:
- Go to the 'Photos' Tab.
- Click on a particular category of photo product you want to order.
- Click on 'Single Upload' or Click on 'Multiple Upload'.
- You can enter the details for the photograph below the photographs.
- When you're done click on 'Upload Photos'.
- Log in to Window2India using your email address.
- All the photos along with their details will be uploaded to your Window2India account.

Editing Details of a Photo
You can Edit/Update the photo name, description and the tags associated with it in the following way:
- Go to the 'Photos' Tab.
- Log in to Window2India using your email address.
- Go to the 'Show Photos' Tab.
- Select the photos that you want to edit and then click on 'Edit'.
- The selected photographs would appear with their name, description and tags displayed as last updated.
- You can edit the above details for the selected photographs.
- When you're done, click 'Save'.
Deleting a Photo
You can delete the photographs in the following way:
Note: All the images in your account will be deleted permanently.
- Go to the 'Show Photos' Tab.
- Log in to Window2India using your email address.
- Select the photos that you want to delete and then click on 'Delete'.
A confirmation box will appear in front of you, once you click Delete. Note that the photos once deleted will be permanently removed from the account.
- If you are sure you want to remove the contact information, click 'Yes'. If you change your mind, click "No".

Photo Greeting Cards
One of the most touching ways to get connected with your loved ones is to share your memories with them at specific occasions. Window2India makes it possible for you to make your personalized photo greeting cards (postcards and folded cards) for specific occasions such as Deepavali, Birthdays, and Anniversaries and send them across to friends and family residing in India. You can choose any of the photographs from your Window2India account and make the Photo Greeting Card. It's pretty simple. These cards would be available in the following sizes: 4x6 and 5x7 in gloss/matte finish.
How do I create a Photo Greeting Card?
- Go to the 'Photos' Tab.
- Select the 'Photo Greeting Card' from the available option.
- Upload photo for your Photo Greeting Card.
- Log in to Window2India using your email address.
- Click on 'Customize your own Greeting Cards' link. You will be taken to the Cards Page.
On this page, you have an option to select photos for your Greeting Cards. Below you will have an option to select the templates for your Greeting Cards. And below the templates you will see a preview of the Photo Greeting Card.
Select a Tag from which you want to pick a Photo from above. All the photos in the tag will appear above. You can also view the photos by choosing the filters such as friends, tags etc.
Click on the template to select it, from the templates shown you. The preview (blank, without any photo) of the template will appear in the preview pane. You can choose different categories of templates such as New Year, Diwali, and X-mas etc.
Click on the Photo thumbnail to select it. The preview of the Photo Greeting Card will appear in the preview pane after clicking on 'Generate Preview'. This might take a few seconds.
If you want to change the Template thereon, just click on any other Template OR If you want to change the Photo thereon, just click on any other photograph. The refreshing of the preview, with the new Card Preview might take a few seconds.
When you're done, click 'Personalize' to enter the Text for the Card. After entering the text click on 'Continue' for further process such as Quantity, Add to Shopping Bag etc.

Photo Calendar
How do I create Photo calendar?
- Go to the 'Photos' Tab.
- Select the 'Photo Calendar' from the available option.
- Upload 12 photos for your Photo Calendar.
- Log in to Window2India using your email address.
On Photo Calendar page, you have an option to select photos for your Photo Calendar. Below you will have templates for your Photo calendar mentioning month and year.
- Select '12' photos for your photo calendar from all the photos shown. While selecting photos you will be able to view the Photo calendar month by month
- If you want to change the Photo there on, just click on any other photograph.
- When you're done, click on 'Add to Shopping Bag' for further process.
Photo T-Shirt
- Go to the 'Photos' Tab.
- Select the 'Photo T-shirt' from the available options.
- Upload photo for your Photo T-Shirt.
- Log in to Window2India using your email address.
- On Photo T-Shirt page, you have an option to select photos for your PhotoT-shirt.
- When you're done, click on 'Add to Shopping Bag' for further process.

Ordering prints
The prints can be ordered in 4x6, 5x7, or 8x10 sizes, and the photo finish can be either glossy/matte finish on the Fuji Paper/Kodak Paper. You can order the prints and send them to your friends and family residing in India.
How to order prints online?
If you have previously-saved items in your Shopping Bag, you can simply sign in to Window2India, click the 'Shop Photos' link in the left panel and finish placing your order by clicking on 'Continue'. If you want to create a new order follow the following steps:
- Go to the 'Photos' Tab.
- Log in to Window2India using your email address.
- Click 'Show Photos' from the left panel.
Select the photographs from the All photos/individual Tags for which you want to order the prints. If you want to select all the photos in a particular Tag, click on 'Select All' at the left hand top.
After selecting Size and Quantity, click the 'Add to Shopping Bag' button. All the photos in the album would be added to the Shopping Bag with single quantity and 4x6 as the default print size.
- Click on 'Go to Shopping Bag'. You can modify the quantity, size and the photo finish (matte/glossy finish) in the Shopping Bag.
- If you want to add more prints to the cart, click on 'Continue Shopping', which will take you to the 'Photos' Tab again.
- Once you are ready to buy, enter the shipping address.
- Click 'Pay Now' and complete the payment process.
Adding/Editing/Removing Recipients for Shipping
When you click on 'Go to shopping bag' link on the shopping details page you can enter the Recipient Address(es). You can either select the address(es) from your Address Book OR enter new address(es) as described below:
- To enter a new Address, Click on 'Add new Shipping Detail' enter it in the form and then click 'Save'. The address of the person will be displayed under the heading 'Selected Addresses'.
To enter from Address Book: The address book has all the Shipping Address(es) with all the alias names you had entered. To select the Address(es), click on the Alias Name displayed in the list. The address of the person will be displayed by the Alias given while adding in to address book. You can add Multiple Addresses by this way.
If you want to edit the selected address, click on 'Edit' beside the links such as 'Add recipients' and 'Add address from address book' etc. The details would appear in the form. You can change the details and then click 'Save'. Note: The address would be edited temporarily and not saved in the Address Book.
- If you want to remove the selected address, click 'Delete'. Note: The address would be removed temporarily and not saved in the Address Book.
Removing Items from the Cart
You can remove the items from the Cart in the following way:
- Log in to Window2India using your email address.
- Click on the 'Shop Photos' Tab left side on the page.
- You can remove the item from the cart page by clicking on the 'Remove from cart' link, below the thumbnail. A confirmation box will appear once you click.
- If you click 'Ok', the item will be removed from the Cart. If you change your mind, click 'No'.
If you want to remove all Items from the Cart, click 'Empty Shopping Bag'. A confirmation box will appear once you click this button. Note: All the items would be removed from your Cart.

Payments
How and when do I make the Payment?
Window2India asks you for the payment whenever you checkout the items in your Cart. After you select the recipients, in the same page you will have the 'Order Details', which will give you the exact amount, which you have to Pay. When you click 'Pay Now' you will be re-directed to the secure payment gateway's website where you would be asked for the Credit Card Details, and after the transaction is done, you will be again back to Window2India site with the acknowledgment of the payment gateway.Window2India provides you with an e-bill through email, whenever you order prints/cards from the website, so that you can keep track of the order and the amount that has been billed against your Credit Card.

Order Details
How do I check my order status?
After the transaction, you will be provided with a confirmation that your order has been placed correctly. You would be provided with an order number at the time of ordering the prints and also through email. You will also receive an email notification when the order is shipped and (delivered). |
Can I order my prints from any country?
You can order your prints from any country to be delivered in India. |
Can I order prints to any country?
Presently we have our services only in India. We can process any order that has to be delivered to India. |
How do I view the Order History?
To check your order history, sign in to www.window2india.com and go to 'Track My Order' on the left panel. A list of all the previous orders will be displayed along with the status of any orders that are currently under process. The details provided in the order history are: Order Id, date, shipping details, recipient details etc. |
How much time does it take for an order to arrive?
Your order will be processed within a day from the time you submit it online, except for certain holidays. The shipment of the print orders would be done using the courier service. You can expect the orders to be delivered to the recipients within 3-5 business days. You will also receive an email notification when the order is shipped. Window2India is not responsible for shipping delays due to weather, natural disaster, or causes beyond our shipping carriers control. |

Canceling Orders |
Window2India will try to provide you with the best possible service by being flexible. The cancellation of orders depends on the following factors:
- If your order has not been processed, we can cancel the order and refund the money to your account.
- If the order has been processed, but not shipped, we can change the shipping address(es) but cannot cancel the order.
- If the order has been processed, and shipped, we cannot cancel the order.
