When one thinks of Nagpur, oranges are the first thing that come to mind. However, that's not all this city has to offer. Besides being the third largest city after Mumbai and Pune, it is regarded as the heart of India, as the city hosts the popular Zero Mile stone monument, which is responsible for it's claim to fame. The future of Nagpur is on an upward trend; soon this city of oranges will host one of the country's most important logistics centers. Making Nagpur's airport the country's first national air cargo hub. The terminal is expected to become operational by the first quarter of 2008-09. Boeing, the American aircraft manufacturer, has decided to set up a maintenance, repair and overhaul facility in Nagpur with a $100 million investment. Airbus has also approached the state government to set up a similar facility near Nagpur.
